...AIR QUALITY ALERT IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 PM EDT THIS EVENING... ...AIR QUALITY ALERT IN EFFECT FROM 10 AM TO 8 PM EDT THURSDAY... The North Carolina Department of Environmental Quality in Raleigh NC has issued Code Orange Air Quality Action Days for Ground Level Ozone. The current Air Quality Alert remains in effect until 8 PM EDT this evening. Another Air Quality Alert is now in effect from 10 AM to 8 PM EDT Thursday. An Air Quality Action Day means that Ground Level Ozone concentrations within the region may approach or exceed unhealthy standards.
