Chief Tim Lentz announces that the Covington Police Department is searching for Kailey Brown and Carol Blackburn, two 13-year old females reported missing yesterday evening. The two were last seen by relatives of Brown near the intersection of W 10th Ave & N Polk St, in Covington, at approximately 4:20 PM, yesterday.
Kailey Brown, described as a black female, approximately 5’6” tall and 150 lbs with black hair and brown eyes, was last seen wearing a tan shirt and blue jeans. Carol Blackburn, described as a black female, approximately 5’6” tall and 120 lbs with black hair and brown eyes, was last seen wearing a black shirt and blue jeans.
Family members have not heard from either girl since reporting them missing. The reason for their disappearance is unknown at this time, though Carol Blackburn has a history of running away from home.
