Beginning on 6/6, Kennedy Ave b/t 45th Ave and Main St will be closed (local traffic only). For pavement and railroad crossing repairs. 
Beginning at Wednesday, June 6, 2018, Kennedy Avenue between 45th Avenue and Main Street in Highland will be restricted to local traffic only to allow for the milling and resurfacing of Kennedy Avenue and for repairs to the Canadian National Railroad (CNRR) crossing. The roadway will be completely closed at the railroad crossing. The work, weather permitting, should be completed by Tuesday, June 12, 2018. The Town of Highland and CNRR have coordinated their efforts in order to minimize the delays that result from the work. The Indiana Department of Transportation will continue to work on the CNRR overpass on Indianapolis Boulevard through November 2018.
