The National Weather Service in Fort Worth has issued a
* Flood Advisory for... Rockwall County in north central Texas... Western Kaufman County in north central Texas... Northeastern Ellis County in north central Texas... Collin County in north central Texas...
* Until 1045 AM CDT.
* At 847 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms that were producing heavy rainfall stretching from Celina to Rockwall to Rosser to Ennis. Rainfall amounts of one to one and a half inches per hour have been observed with these thunderstorms. Excessive runoff from these thunderstorms will cause urban and small stream flooding. Areas that are low lying or usually experience poor drainage are most likely to experience flooding. This means some low water crossings in the region may become impassable.
* Some locations that will experience flooding include... Plano, McKinney, Frisco, Richardson, Allen, Rowlett, Wylie, Rockwall, Sachse, Ennis, Terrell, Seagoville, Forney, Kaufman, Murphy, Prosper, Royse City, Anna, Fairview and Heath.
