...The flood warning continues for the following rivers in Maryland...West Virginia... Potomac River at Shepherdstown affecting Washington...Berkeley and Jefferson Counties ...Flood Warning extended until late Tuesday night... The Flood Warning continues for The Potomac River at Shepherdstown.

* Until late Tuesday night.

* At 2 AM Monday the stage was 19.6 feet.

* Flood stage is 15.0 feet.

* Minor flooding is occurring and Moderate flooding is forecast.

* Recent activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 2 AM Monday was 19.6 feet.

* Forecast...The river will continue rising to near 23.8 feet by mid-afternoon today. The river will fall below flood stage early tomorrow evening.

* Impact...At 24.0 feet...Water begins to cover the parking lot adjacent to the Shepherdstown boat ramp, and approaches the lowest point of an adjacent building.
