416 Fire; 2 important updates. 6/4. US 550 S will again be temp open from 8 AM-6PM. STAGE II FIRE BAN SAN JUAN-S-Ton 
TRAVEL ADVISORY for TOMORROW (Mon 6/4): US 550 north of Durango will again be temporarily opened from 8 AM to 6 PM.
Access will be limited to one-lane alternating traffic. It is critical that motorists follow the escort vehicle and remain in their lane. Do not pass. The far-west lane is being utilized by firefighting crews and equipment.
Access is for THROUGH TRAFFIC ONLY!
—No access to lakes, streams or trails in this area. No recreation, boating, fishing, hiking.
—Access to homes/cabins for medications or emergency essentials only.
—Property owners may not stay. All evacuation and pre-evacuation orders remain in place.
—The highway will be CLOSED again at 6PM. Motorists must leave Silverton no later than 5:15 p.m. in order to make it through the evening road closure.
If fire activity increases, US 550 could close again at any time.
