* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for... Northwestern Cherokee County in southwestern North Carolina... Northeastern Polk County in east Tennessee... Southern Monroe County in east Tennessee...

* Until 530 PM EDT.

* At 448 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 11 miles southeast of Etowah, or 13 miles north of Ducktown, moving east at 30 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
