During a traffic stop the driver is found in possession of a loaded firearm, drug paraphernalia and stolen property

LOCATION: Manskers Ln, Needles, CA
SUSPECT: Antonie Johnson, 47 years old, resident of Needles
SUMMARY:
On May 31, 2018 at about 4:30 AM, deputies from the Colorado River Station/Needles Police Department began investigating a possible dumped stolen vehicle located in a remote area near an address on Manskers Ln. Throughout the investigation, it was learned that an unoccupied vehicle was stolen from the parking lot of a nearby gas station and pushed to its current location, where several items were stolen from the vehicle.
At about 9:30 AM, deputies conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle leaving the remote area of the dumped stolen vehicle. The driver of the vehicle, identified as 47 year old Antonie Johnson of Needles, was found to be in possession of a loaded firearm and drug paraphernalia. Several items located within Johnson's vehicle were later confirmed to have been taken without permission from the dumped stolen vehicle. Johnson was placed under arrest for Felon in Possession of a Firearm, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Possession of Stolen Property. Johnson was transported to and booked at the Colorado River Station Jail and being held on $50,000.00 bail pending a court hearing.
The stolen vehicle and several stolen items were later released to the victim.
