3RD PCT TRAFFIC ADVISORY/ROAD CLOSURES ON SATURDAY 6/2/2018 AND SUNDAY 6/3/2018 FOR UPCOMING EVENTS IN OUR COMMUNITY. 
Saturday, June 2, 2018:
East Islip: The St. Mary’s School 5K Run/Walk will be held on Saturday, June 2, 2018. Periodic road closures will take place in the area of St. Mary’s Church, south of Montauk Hwy between the hours of 7 AM and 2 PM.
Bay Shore: The Great South Bay YMCA 5K Run/Walk will be held on Saturday, June 2, 2018. Roads will be closed in the area south of Main Street from Bayway Avenue to South Clinton Avenue from 7 AM to 11 AM.
Brentwood- The annual Brentwood Salsa Arts and Music Festival will be held on Saturday, June 2, 2018. Suffolk Avenue will be closed from Madison Avenue/2nd Street to Washington Avenue/Brentwood Road from 9 AM to 8 PM.
Sunday, June 4, 2017:
East Islip: The East Islip Marina Triathlon will be held on Sunday, June 3, 2018. Bay View Avenue will be closed from 7 AM to 10 AM. Temporary road closures and delays will also take place between the hours of 7 AM and 9 AM on the following roads:
Timberpoint Road, Woodland Drive, River Road, Great River Road, and Woodhollow Road.
Those who wish to use the Golf Course should use Great River Road.
Brentwood/ Bay Shore- The Puerto Rican Day Parade will be held Sunday, June 3, 2018. Fifth Avenue will be closed from Spur Drive North to Pine Aire Drive from 11 AM to 3 PM.
Islip- The Annual Islip Street Festival will be held on Sunday, June 3, 2018. Main Street will be closed from Ocean Avenue to Rte 111 from 11 AM to 6 PM.
**MOTORISTS ARE ADVISED TO EXPECT DELAYS IN THESE AREAS, AND ARE ENCOURAGED TO USE ALTERNATE ROUTES**
