SUMMARY:

On Tuesday, May 29, 2018, deputies from the Victor Valley Sheriff’s Station received a report of two children, ages 9 and 4, being left alone at a residence in the 11900 block of Arena in Pinon Hills.

According to a relative of the children, she went to the residence and located the children alone inside with marijuana and other drug paraphernalia within their reach. When Deputy Ricardo Duran arrived at the residence, he saw loose marijuana on table tops and smoking pipes and other drug paraphernalia all easily accessible to the children. Marijuana was also located inside the freezer where the children have direct access.

The mother of the children, Amanda Quinn, came back to the residence and was arrested without incident. The children were released to a family member.
Quinn is currently being held at the High Desert Detention Center in lieu of $100,000.00 bail.
