On Tuesday, May 29, 2108, members of the Harris County Sheriff’s Office Violent Crimes unit were contacted by the San Antonio Police Department with information on the whereabouts of suspects wanted for a series of armed robberies in the San Antonio area.

HCSO investigators and members of the Texas Department of Public Safety Criminal Investigation Division and DPS Air Support 102 began surveillance of a Motel 6 located in the 2900 block of the S Sam Houston Parkway.

Investigators were able to locate the suspects’ vehicle a 2010 Nissan Sentra that was reported stolen during a carjacking earlier that day in San Antonio.

Two men now identified as Badesire Bahindwa (dob 08/01/96) and Antrail Munerlyn (dob 11/02/96), entered the vehicle and drove to a local restaurant.

When the two men returned to the motel parking lot, investigators stopped the vehicle and took both men into custody without incident.

Investigators recovered a handgun and merchandise stolen earlier in the morning from a Metro PCS store in west San Antonio

Both men are facing three counts of aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon.

They are currently awaiting transfer to the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office Detention Facility.
