The Newark Police Department is releasing information about recent crime and police activity that has occurred within our community. 
May 29th
1121 Hours: Officer Wilkerson investigated the theft of vehicle registration tabs from a vehicle on the 36800 block of Cherry Street.
1737 Hours: Officer Slavazza investigated a credit fraud case. The victim reported that an unknown person had opened a charge account in their name that has gone to collections.
1808 Hours: Officer Geser investigated a package theft on the 36400 block of Dijon Drive. The investigation is ongoing.
Arrest Information & Mug Shots
You can view an arrest log that displays information about arrestees for the past 30 days. The log displays basic information such as personal data (allowable by statute/law) and the mug shot of the arrestee. Yes, you can see booking photographs and get to know those in our community who are committing crimes.
