Press Release: Drug Arrest

ACCUSED: Anthony M. Jeffries 52 year-old-male // Plainfield, NJ
NARRATIVE:
On May 29th, 2018 at 4:10 am Police Officer Dean Schoch observed a vehicle with an equipment violation and conducted a traffic stop along Asbury Avenue. The driver later identified as, Anthony Jeffries was unable to produce a license and was found to be a suspended driver.
Further investigation revealed that Jeffries was in possession of methamphetamine, prescription legend drugs, hypodermic syringes and drug paraphernalia. In addition to the drug charges there were numerous warrants for his arrest. Jeffries was subsequently transported to the county jail pending his initial court appearance.
