About 5 to 15 consecutive hours of single digit humidities are forecast over the region Thursday afternoon and evening. * AREA AND TIMING...Northeast Highlands and Plains, East Central Plains and Sandia, Manzano and Gallinas Mountains from early Thursday afternoon through Thursday evening and again from Friday morning through Friday evening.
* 20 FOOT WINDS...Southwest 20 to 30 mph with gusts to around 40 mph Thursday afternoon. Southwest 20 to 35 mph with gusts to around 45 mph Friday afternoon.
* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...Ranging from 5 to 10 percent both Thursday and Friday afternoons.
* IMPACTS...Any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly. Outdoor burning is not recommended.
