Main Break In Pearl City
Mon., May 28, 2018, 3:30 p.m. — The Honolulu Board of Water Supply continues repair on an 8" cast iron main in Pearl City which is affecting approximately 20 homes and two fire hydrants. The break is located at 1720 Hoohulu St. Affected customers are on a half-block of Hoohulu St., which is closed between Komo Mai Dr. and the Hooia St. intersection.
A water wagon is located at 1998 Hoohulu St. for the affected residents.
Water service to the nearby Waiau District Park and Waiau Fire Station is unaffected.
Crews shut off water to the affected areas at about 12:30 p.m. and a supervisor is at the site.
Customers in the surrounding neighborhoods are encouraged to conserve water until further notice. More information will be provided as it becomes available.
