INCIDENT: Hit and Run Injury Collision
LOCATION: Syamore and Balsam, Hesperia
SUSPECT: Jorge Galvan, age 35 described as a Hispanic male 5'10" tall, weight 180 pounds, black hair and brown eyes, a resident of Whittier
SUSPECT’S VEHICLE: 1974 Chevrolet pick-up truck white in color CA Plate: 75967C2 - recovered at the scene
Summary:
On May 25, 2018, at about 9:20 pm, deputies from the Hesperia Police Department responded to a hit and run traffic collision at Sycamore and Balsam. Through investigation, the hit and run driver has been identified as Jorge Galvan. Galvan struck a semi-truck and knowingly left his critically injured male passenger partially ejected from his vehicle. Investigators have obtained a Ramey Warrant for his arrest. Galvan’s last known address is in the Whittier area, and it is believed he may have been assisted back to that area from the High Desert. Evidence at the scene of the collision confirms Galvan sustained injuries to his face and upper body that would likely require medical attention. Galvan’s current location and medical condition are unknown.
