MBPD and MBFD responded to MBMS this afternoon to investigate a fire alarm activation, which led to further information of a threat to school safety. Preliminary investigation has revealed the information provided was fourth-hand and not credible. The subject who provided the information and the subject of concern were interviewed by police. MBPD is satisfied there was no threat to school or public safety as a result. The MBFD also determined the fire alarm was false.
