Flash Flood Warning until 11:30PM
The National Weather Service in Albuquerque has issued a
* Flash Flood Warning for... Northeastern Quay County in east central New Mexico...
* Until 1130 PM MDT.
* At 825 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Up to three inches of rain have already fallen. Flash flooding is expected to begin shortly.
* Flash flooding will remain over mainly rural areas of northeastern Quay County, including over U.S. 54 between Logan and Nara Visa.
* AFFECTED AREAS: QUAY
Instructions:
Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flash flooding.
