The Walnut Diamond Bar Sheriff’s Station is aware of a social media post depicting a generalized threat to Diamond Ranch High School.  The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department takes every single threat, comment and/or “rumor” seriously.  Each incident will be investigated thoroughly by our station personnel.

Station detectives are currently investigating the potential threat and are working with the school administration to help ensure the safety and security of students and staff.  We have increased patrols in the area in order to maintain high visibility and presence.  In addition, we have dedicated personnel that will remain on the Diamond Ranch High School campus for the duration of the school day.

We thank every parent, faculty member and student that has made us aware of the incident. We continue to work hand in hand with our community, and school administration to help provide the safest learning environment for all of our students.
