Today, May 25th is National Missing Children’s Day. One of a parent’s worst nightmares is to find out their child has been abducted! It is important for parents, communities, and law enforcement to take an active role in showing children how to be safe, including older children. GTPD encourages parents to spend a few minutes teaching your child about safety, as this could mean the difference between life and death.
Take 25 Campaign, which was created by the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC), encourages parents and guardians to take 25 minutes on May 25, National Missing Children’s Day, to talk to their children about staying safe.
