Suffolk County Police First Squad detectives are seeking the public’s help to locate a 46-year-old man who may be suicidal, and went missing on May 23, 2018.
 
Hiklyn Ortiz was last seen at 118 Harrison Ave. in North Amityville at approximately 12:35 a.m.
Ortiz is described as Hispanic, 6 feet tall, 170 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a red sweat shirt, blue jeans and black shoes. He may be driving a red 4-door 1999 Mercury Sable with NYS license plate number HUH 8440.   
 
The investigation is continuing. Detectives are asking anyone with information to call the First Squad at 631-854-8177 or call 911.
