IMPD North District Makes Significant Gun and Narcotic Seizure

INCIDENT TYPE: IMPD North District Narcotics Arrests

INCIDENT LOCATION: 5776 E 33rd St
 
COMMUNITY MESSAGE: INDIANAPOLIS – Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD) North District Flex Team (NDF), North District Narcotics Unit (NDN), and Indiana State Police (ISP) SWAT team executed a search warrant at 5776 E 33rd St.  As a part of the search warrant the following was recovered (preliminary results):
 
207 grams of powder cocaine
30 grams of crack cocaine
109 grams of fentanyl/heroin
121 Oxycodone, Buprenorphrine, and Clonazepam pills
2 pistols
1 revolver
1 AK-47
$14,757 cash
 
Officers arrested 26-year old Barry Love for Dealing a Controlled Substance, Possession of a Controlled Substance, Dealing Cocaine, Possession of Cocaine, Possession of Marijuana, and Maintaining a Common Nuisance.
 
Officers also arrested 29-year old Jonathan White for Dealing a Controlled Substance, Possession of a Controlled Substance, Dealing Cocaine, Possession of Cocaine, Possession of Marijuana, and Maintaining a Common Nuisance.
 
Four additional individuals were arrested for misdemeanor offenses and are not listed in this release.
 
IMPD is appreciative to the ATF and FBI for their cooperation and assistance with this investigation.
 
Formal charging decisions will be made by the Marion County Prosecutor’s Office.  A charge of a crime is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
