INCIDENT: Felon in Possession of Firearm / Felon in Possession of Ammunition / Possession of a Controlled Substance for Sales / Possession of a Controlled Substance While Armed
LOCATION: 11200 block of Charleston St, Adelanto
SUSPECT: Juan Rios, 35 years of age, resident of Adelanto
SUMMARY:
On Thursday, May 17, 2018, at 10:30 am, deputies and detectives from the Victor Valley Sheriff’s Station served a search warrant at a residence in the 11200 block of Charleston St. in the City of Adelanto.
Deputies had received information that a convicted felon was in possession of a semi-automatic handgun and authored a search warrant for the residence. During the service of the search warrant a firearm, ammunition and narcotics were located. The resident, Juan Rios, was found to be a convicted felon.
Juan Rios was arrested and booked at High Desert Detention Center where he is being held in lieu of $50,000 bail.
