Seeking public assistance on attempted abduction
At approximately 4:00 PM on May 15, Lakeport Police officers were dispatched to contact a 26 year old female subject who reported a male subject approached her at the end of 4th Street near Library Park at about 3:15 PM and offered her money for sex. The female reported that she said no and the male then grabbed her by the arm and attempted to pull her into his vehicle. The female said she broke free from the male subjects hold at which time he fled in the vehicle. The vehicle is described as a shiny red Lexus sedan with gold badging bearing a unknown state license plate, white with black lettering, first three letters EYU. The driver is described as a black male adult, mid 50’s, 6-00 tall, 225 pounds, short curly salt & pepper colored hair, clean shaven and wearing a black short sleeve shirt, black jeans and black and grey shoes.
