May 17 Power Outage Knowlton 
JCP&L continues power restoration to Knowlton. Unfortunately, the global estimate time of restoration provided previously will not hold. At present there are 8 crews working in Knowlton, 3 line crews and 5 hazard responders. JCP&L has quarantined the Kittantinny substation, which is the source of extreme damage. This circuit was very hard hit and is being worked on by several crews. It affects 1,057 customers in Knowlton and Blairstown. As crews progress, customers will be restored with the final restoration estimated to occur by 4 PM tomorrow.

Knowlton Township has 16 outages affecting 746 customers
Hardwick Township has 9 outages affecting 556 customers
Frelinghuysen Township has 20 outages affecting 158 customers
Hope Township has 6 outages affecting 101 customers
Mansfield Township has 3 outages affecting 20 customers
Independence Township has 5 outages affecting 30 customers
Liberty Township has 9 outages affecting 10 customers
Allamuchy Township has 3 outages affecting 19 customers
Free water continues to be available at the customer service counter at Acme in Blairstown.
