5/06 – 6:32 p.m. – Police responded to a call for a subject that damaged a family member’s vehicle. The officer observed the subject driving on Street Lafayette Street. He attempted to stop the subject however, the subject fled in his vehicle. The officer followed the subject for only a block before terminating his attempt to stop him. The subject continued to flee, disobeying several stop signs in a residential area. The suspect, Klayton M. Skaer, age 20 of Millstadt, was later charged with Fleeing and Eluding a Police Officer, as well as multiple citations for Disobeying a Stop Sign.
