On May 10th, 2018 at approximately 6:29 p.m. Officers with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department were dispatched to 1218 N. Grant Ave. in response to the report of a person shot and stabbed. Upon arrival Officers and EMS personnel located a person, later identified as Chenard Johnson suffering from what Medics said appeared to be gunshot wounds. Medics pronounced Mr. Johnson deceased on scene.
