Motorists traveling in Kalihi are reminded that only 1 traffic lane is open in each direction on N. School St. between Hauiki & Ahonui Sts. as Board of Water Supply (BWS) crews continue to repair a broken 6-inch water main. Drivers are being asked to find alternate routes and avoid the area if possible. If unable to do so, they are asked to approach this area slowly and drive with caution as they make their way through.
The main broke shortly before 4 a.m. today. The BWS has set up water wagons in the area for the 22 customers who are without water service for the duration of the repair, which is expected to go into tomorrow.
