Suspicious Circumstances 
On 05/11/2018 at 1605 hours, a male subject walked up to a residence in the 1700 block of Oxford Road and advised the resident he was conducting a research study on behalf of the City of San Marino. The male subject provided a name to the resident and asked if that person currenlty lives at the residence. Resident advised him no. Male subject left the residence. At approximately 1612 hours, male subject returned back to the residence and contacted the resident. The resident became suspicious and informed the subject they would be contacting the police. Male subject walked away from the residence and got into his parked vehicle. The subject was last seen driving north bound on Oxford Road towards Euston Road.
Vehicle description: Newer model BMW, 540I, grey, 4 door with New Century BMW paper plates.
Subject description: Asian,male, approximately 25-30 years old, medium build, short cut hair, blue long sleeve shirt with sleeves rolled up to his elbows.
The City of San Marino has not authorized anyone to contact residents and conduct research on behalf of the city. Please contact the San Marino Police Department at 626-300-0720, if anyone informs you they are conducting research on behalf of the City of San Marino.
