Sheriff Neil Godfrey announced the arrest of Russell Walter Jackson for a Home-Invasion that occurred in Aberdeen, NC.

 
     Sheriff Neil Godfrey announced the arrest of Russell Walter Jackson for a Home-Invasion that occurred in Aberdeen, NC.
 
     Moore County Sheriff’s Deputies, State Bureau of Investigations and Hoke County Sheriff’s Office, conducted a joint operation arresting Russell Walter Jackson at a residence in Hoke County, North Carolina. Jackson was wanted by the Moore County Sheriff’s Office for a Home Invasion that occurred off of Fellowship Way in Aberdeen, North Carolina. The victim reported two black males forcing their way into his home, holding him at gunpoint and robbing him of money.
 
     Jackson was charged with: one count of first degree Burglary, one count of Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon, one count of First Degree Kidnapping, one count of Conspiracy to Commit Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon, one count of Assault with a Deadly Weapon Inflicting Serious Injury, one count of Assault with a Deadly Weapon with Intent to Kill Inflicting Serious Injury, one count of Discharging a Firearm into an Occupied Dwelling, one count of Assault by Pointing a Gun, one count of Injury to Personal property and one count of Larceny of a Firearm. Jackson was placed in the Moore County Detention Center under a $6,000,000 Secured bond and given a May 22nd, 2018 District Court date.  
 
     Moore County Sheriff’s deputies continue their search for the second suspect.
 

All defendants facing criminal charges are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
