WANTED: Man who passed fake money at yard sale; was driving a small red truck; call 652-2237 or 65-CRIME with info; cash reward offered
A man passed a fake $50 bill at a yard sale over the weekend, and now authorities are on the hunt for him.
Robert Moore Jr., of Marion, reported that the suspect bought a $15 heater on Saturday, May 5 with the bogus cash, received $35 in change and left in this red truck, which Moore snapped a picture of.
The man is described as a white male in his mid-30s to 40s, who stands 6 feet tall and has a slender build, dark brown hair and a mustache and goatee. He was driving the small pickup truck with a dog, possibly a Jack Russell terrier, inside.
