Dear Resident,

DTE Energy is temporarily staging portable generators today at the NW corner of St. Paul and St. Clair to help provide reliable power to your neighborhood while they make emergency repairs to the energy grid. These repairs ultimately will provide long-term electric reliability benefits.
We apologize in advance, as these generators are noisy, especially when they start up. They are working closely with the City of Grosse Pointe to minimize the impact on residents and local businesses. We don’t expect the generators to run continuously, only when needed.
The generators are expected to remain in the city for up to a week.
