This week the Janesville Police Department is hosting Snipercraft’s Basic Sniper School. This is the largest class we have hosted to date with 20 students in the class. The students are all police officers from Wisconsin, Illinois, Minnesota, Iowa, Missouri, and British Columbia, Canada. The first class we hosted several years ago consisted of only 10 students. This class filled up so fast we needed to schedule a second class for October, which is also filling up.

These classes will help officers improve their skills making their communities safer. They also bring people into our community to spend money at our local hotels, restaurants, and businesses.
