Suspect #1: Steven Stephon Williams, 22 years old, resident of Perris
Suspect #2: Deonta Simuel, 18 years old, resident of Hemet
Suspect #3: Unknown black male adult
Suspect Vehicle: Hyundai / Accent, hatchback, black

SUMMARY:
On April 19, 2018 at approximately 7:40 p.m. deputies from the Chino Hills Station responded to the report of a robbery. Responding deputies determined as the victims arrived home, they were contacted by two suspects. The suspects forcefully grabbed the victim’s belongings and ran away from the residence. One of the victims chased the suspects as they fled to a nearby vehicle, which was being driven by a third unknown suspect. Steven Williams was unable to get inside of the vehicle before it fled the scene. Williams fled on foot and was later located and arrested by responding deputies.

Detectives from the Chino Hills Police Department and Sheriff’s Special Enforcement Detail completed several days of surveillance and investigation, and identified Deonta Simuel as the second suspect during the robbery. Detectives arrested Simuel on May 2, 2018. The Hyundai was located and determined to belong to Steven Williams.

Simuel and Williams are being held at the West Valley Detention Center for PC 211 – Robbery.

The investigation is ongoing and detectives are working all leads in order to make contact with the outstanding suspect.
