The Signal Hill Police Dept. needs the public's assistance in identifying a robbery suspect.

On Tuesday April 17, 2018, at approximately 4:20 p.m., a robbery occurred at a business located in the 2300 block of Redondo Avenue.  During the robbery, the suspect approached the cashier and demanded that she give him the money from the cash register.  Although a weapon was not seen, the suspect threatened to “blow” the associates head off if she did not comply with his demands. 

The loss was $546.00 cash. The suspect was last seen fleeing the scene in a black 2003-2005 Ford Explorer, Eddie Bauer Edition with brown trim.

The suspect is described as a African American adult male, thin build, and approximately 6'2" tall.  He was wearing large square-shaped sunglasses and a gray pullover hooded sweatshirt.  The suspect also has unknown tattoos covering his right arm.
