Press Release: Heroin Seizure

ACCUSED: Sean Hailman 42-year-old Male // Asbury Park, NJ
Perry Curtis 64-year-old Male // Asbury Park, NJ
NARRATIVE:
On April 27th, 2018 at approximately 2:44pm Detectives Orbach and Legg were traveling west on State Highway 66 when they observed a vehicle commit a motor vehicle violation. A traffic stop was conducted and detectives identified the driver as Perry Curtis and the passenger as Sean Hailman.
During the roadside investigation both were placed under arrest for being in possession of marijuana. Further investigation revealed that Hailman was in possession of 130 bags of heroin and cocaine. He was charged with Possession of Heroin, Possession of Cocaine, Possession with the Intent to Distribute Narcotics and Failure to Turn over Narcotics to Law Enforcement. Hailman was processed and transported to the county jail pending his initial court appearance.
Curtis was processed and charged with Possession of Marijuana and Drug Paraphernalia. He was subsequently released on a summons pending his initial court appearance.
