...FIRE WEATHER WATCH IN EFFECT FROM MONDAY MORNING THROUGH MONDAY EVENING FOR PORTIONS OF EASTERN WEST VIRGINIA, NORTHERN VIRGINIA AND MUCH OF MARYLAND... The National Weather Service in Sterling Virginia has issued a Fire Weather Watch for the potential of enhanced fire spread, which is in effect from Monday morning through Monday evening.
* HUMIDITY...Around 20 percent.
* WINDS...Northwest 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 35 mph.
* FUEL MOISTURE...Decreasing to below 10 percent.
* IMPACTS...The combination of lowering fuel moisture, low relative humidity and gusty winds may contribute to the enhanced spread of fires.
* AFFECTED AREAS: BERKELEY ... EASTERN GRANT ... EASTERN MINERAL ... HAMPSHIRE ... HARDY ... JEFFERSON ... MORGAN ... WESTERN GRANT ... WESTERN MINERAL
