Modesto, CA – An early morning shooting in the area of Imperial Av and Seattle St leaves a Modesto man seriously injured.

Early this morning, dispatchers received a 9-1-1 call regarding a male down at the intersection of Dallas St and Glenn Av. A citizen stated, during the call, that the male might have been shot. An officer arrived on scene just before 10:00 AM and confirmed that the victim, a 33 year old Modesto resident, had been shot. The victim was rushed to a local hospital where he was treated for his injuries.

The early investigation indicates the shooting actually occurred in the area of Imperial Av and Seattle St. It is unknown at this time how the victim ended up blocks away from the original location. A motive for the shooting, as well as suspect(s) involved, is still under investigation.
