SUSPECT: Gavin Ramirez, 31 year old from Glendora
SUMMARY:
On April 26, 2018, at 1:54 a.m., deputies from the Rancho Cucamonga Police Department were in the area of Day Creek Blvd. and Vintage Dr., when they located a stolen vehicle. The vehicle was occupied by a male driver and a female passenger. The vehicle, a grey, 2011 Ford Escape, was reported stolen to the Azusa Police Department.
The deputies initiated a traffic stop of the suspect vehicle on the I210 west bound at Day Creek Blvd. A vehicle pursuit ensued after the male driver of the vehicle failed to pull over. The driver showed no regard for the public’s safety. The vehicle eventually yielded on the I210 just past the Baseline Ave. off-ramp.
Ramirez was subsequently arrested and booked into the West Valley Detention Center where he was booked with a bail amount of $100,000.
