Lockdown Has been Lifted

The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department has lifted their containment and lockdown of schools and facilities in the areas that went of:

  • Highland Avenue, Central Avenue, Brycedale Avenue and Huntington Drive.
  • Duarte High School, CS Arts and Northview Schools
  • City Hall, Fitness Center, Senior Center, Teen Center and School District offices.
Two robbery suspects ran from Deputies at approximately noon one suspect was captured.  Another suspect beleived to be a Lationo Male is  still outstanding and has left the area.
