SUSPECT: Tyquan Todd Lewis, 26-year-old from Rancho Cucamonga
SUMMARY:
On April 24, 2018, at 1:45 a.m., Sergeant Riley from the Rancho Cucamonga Police Department conducted a traffic stop on a White, 2010 Toyota for no taillight. The driver, Lewis, was found to be driving on an expired driver’s license and had two traffic warrants for a total of $70,000.00.
A search of the vehicle revealed a loaded firearm with a high capacity magazine, found under the passenger seat. The gun was reported stolen out of Las Vegas, Nevada.
Lewis was arrested and booked into the West Valley Detention Center for carrying a stolen loaded firearm, carrying a concealed weapon in a vehicle, possession of a large capacity magazine and the two traffic warrants. His bail is set at $85,000.00.
