Mt. Zion Av between N. Pontiac Dr. and Friendship Ln is closed until further notice due to a significant water main break.. 
At 2:51 AM the Janesville Police Department responded to a report of high water in the 3100 block of Mt. Zion Av. Upon arrival it was determined a significant water main break had occurred. The Janesville Water Department was notified and responded to the scene. Janesville Water Department personnel requested the road be closed because the road base is compromised and because of high water in the area. Motorists are asked to avoid this area until further notice. Drivers should use E. Milwaukee St. from N. Pontiac Dr. to Morningside Dr. as an alternate route.
