Date times and Location of I-40 Road Closures 
The Contractor for the I-40 Project at the Davie-Forsyth County Line, will be closing the outside Westbound lane, west of the Yadkin River Bridge, beginning on Friday, May 4 at 7:00 PM. It will be reopened no later than Sunday, May 6th at noon. This work is part of the continuing construction to replace the I-40 bridges over the Yadkin River, and to widen and make improvements along I-40. The project runs from Harper Road in Forsyth County, to 1 mile west of the NC 801 interchange in Davie County. Additional similar weekend lane closures are tentatively scheduled for June 1 thru 3, June 8 thru 10, and June 15 thru 17. Work will progress through the entire project limits, and eventually switch over to the Eastbound lanes. Additional notifications will be sent out prior to each weekend closure.
