*UPDATE* #LASD Homicide Det's Assisting Bell Police Dept. with Shooting Death Investigation, Bell


Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Homicide detectives are assisting the Bell Police Department regarding the shooting death of a male Hispanic adult that occurred on the 5000 block of Gage Avenue in the city of Bell, at approximately 10:46 P.M. on Saturday, April 21, 2018.

Detectives have learned that Bell Police Department officers responded to the location regarding a gunshot victim call. Upon their arrival, officers located the victim who had sustained a gunshot wound to the lower body. The victim was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.

There is no known motive for the crime or suspect description.

The investigation is on-going.

Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Homicide Bureau detectives are responding to the 5100 block of Gage Avenue, in the city of Bell, to assist Bell Police Department investigate the circumstances surrounding the shooting death of a male adult.

The victim was transported to a local hospital and later pronounced dead.

The investigation is ongoing and there is no additional information available at this time.
