Folsom Detectives track down and arrest suspected thief
In late Debcember, Folsom Police investigated a theft of an expensive set of golf clubs from a vehicle at a Folsom Home. Although the thief had gotten away with the golf clubs, he had left some evidence behind. The evidence was collected and analyzed, which led to the identification of Anatoliy Romanovich (29 years old) as the suspected thief.
Folsom Police detectives obtained an arrest warrant for Romanovich based on the evidence they had collected. Friday afternoon, they arrested Romanovich in North Highlands on a $500,000 Felony warrant for grand theft. A booking photo of Romanovich is attached. “Getting away with the stolen property isn’t the same as not getting caught. Today was an example of how we pursue criminals in Folsom,” said Detective Sergeant Brian Lockhart.
