Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Temple Station Traffic Detectives are investigating a deputy-involved traffic collision that occurred on Friday, April 20, 2018, at approximately 4:51 p.m. at the 1600 block of Buena Vista Street, Duarte.
Detectives have learned the deputy was responding to a call for service. While traveling southbound Buena Vista Street, just south of the 210 Freeway, a civilian vehicle collided with his patrol vehicle.
The deputy was transported in serious but non-life threatening condition to a local hospital for injuries sustained in the accident.
The male occupant in the civilian vehicle was treated and released at the scene.
The investigation is on-going and there is no additional information at this time.
