Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Homicide Bureau detectives have arrested a 16 year old subject for the stabbing death of a male Hispanic 17 year old, whose body was found on Wednesday April 18, 2018 at approximately 4PM, in the river bed of the San Gabriel River Trail.

The victim was described as a 17-year-old male Hispanic  who was a student at South El Monte High School.  Investigators learned that the victim did not show-up for school Wednesday morning.  The boy’s father and some friends of the victim searched the area for the missing juvenile.
