Deputies serve a search warrant and recover over $3,000 worth of stolen property

SUSPECTS: Billy Jerome Easter, 44 year-old-male resident of Phelan

SUMMARY:
On January 28th and February 23, 2018, the victim reported his residence had been burglarized and several items were stolen including his all-terrain vehicle. On April 4, 2018, deputies from the Victor Valley Sheriff’s Station recovered the victim’s all-terrain vehicle from Saratoga Road in Phelan.
On Tuesday, April 17, 2018, deputies from the Victor Valley Sheriff’s Station served a search warrant in the 7300 block of Saratoga Road in Phelan. During the service of the search warrant, approximately $3,100.00 in stolen property was located and recovered at the above address.
As a result of the investigation, Billy Easter was arrested for PC 496(a), Possession of Stolen Property and was booked at the High Desert Detention Center.
