On Tuesday, April 17th around 12:30pm the Pomona PD Special Investigation Unit (SIU) arrested 35 –year-old Pomona resident, Jason Travis Kosmatka on suspicion of drug activity and possession of illegal firearms and stolen property.
A subsequent search of Kosmatka’s home resulted in the discovery of 5 firearms, a large amount of ammunition, a stolen Harley-Davidson motorcycle, and methamphetamine.
The investigation began after our SIU and Detectives received an anonymous tip. Kosmatka was arrested on the 1600 block of Flanagan St.

- Ruger 22 caliber rifle
- Savage Arms sawed off 12 gauge shotgun
- Winchester 12 gauge shotgun
- Haskell unknown caliber handgun

496 PC Possession of Stolen Property.
Kosmatka’s bail amount is set at $50,000.00
