The First Precinct is advising motorists of temporary road closures and traffic delays due to the following upcoming events:
Wyandanch - Thursday, April 26th –Noon -1:00 The Wyandanch Community Resource Center 1585 Straight Path will be holding a Health Walk-a-Thon. The walk will leave the Resource Center and proceed northeast on Straight Path to Station Drive and continue to the LIRR parking garage. Turn around, and travel south to Station Drive to Straight Path and back to the Wyandanch Community Resource Center.
Babylon Village High School – Friday, April 27th @ 7pm: The Babylon High School will host the Annual Peter Figoski Memorial Softball Game at the ball fields on Trolley Line Road and Carll Avenue.
Copiague – Saturday , April 28th 1 pm – 2:30 pm: The Copiague Youth League will be holding their Annual Parade beginning at the Copiague Train Station and proceeding south on Great Neck Road to Montauk Highway to Baylawn Avenue south to Tanner Park.
